This Cookie Policy explains how Mingloft Ltd ("Mingloft", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at www.mingloft.com (the "Website"). It lists exactly what the Website uses and why.

Event pages open on events.mingloft.com, and planners sign in at app.mingloft.com. Both are part of the Mingloft app, which has its own cookie notice and is not covered by this policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in much the same way. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are "first-party" cookies. Cookies set by another company's service on that site are "third-party" cookies.

Under UK and EU law, a website may use cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for without your consent. Any other cookie needs your consent first.

The short version

The Website uses only essential cookies and storage. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, maps or cookie-based analytics, and we do not sell or share data for advertising.

What the Website uses

Essential (no consent needed)

  • Your cookie choice. When you choose "Accept all" or "Decline" on our cookie banner, we store your choice as cookie_consent in your browser's local storage, so the banner does not ask again. It holds no personal information and stays on your device until you clear your browser storage or change your choice.

  • Cloudflare bot protection (__cf_bm). Some event cover images are served by the event platform Luma through Cloudflare, which may set its __cf_bm cookie on lumacdn.com to tell people from automated bots. It lasts about 30 minutes and is strictly necessary to deliver those images securely.

Cookieless services we use

  • Framer Analytics. Our website host, Framer, counts page views without cookies and without identifying you across sites.

  • Fonts and images. Fonts and images are loaded from content delivery networks (including Google Fonts, Cloudinary and Luma). Like any web request, these receive your IP address to send the file, but they do not set cookies on this Website, apart from the Cloudflare cookie described above.

  • Aria chat. If you use the Aria chat on the Website, your messages are sent to Mingloft to generate a reply. The chat does not set cookies or store anything on your device.

How can I control cookies?

Our cookie banner asks for your choice the first time you visit, with "Accept all" and "Decline" as equal options. Nothing optional loads unless you accept, and the Website does not use any optional cookies today. To change your choice later, use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page. You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings:

Blocking the Cloudflare cookie may stop some event cover images from loading.

Changes to this policy

If we add a service that uses cookies, we will update this policy first and, where consent is required, ask for it before the service loads. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
